Eric Thuler is physician with ENT residency at the University of São Paulo.
He did his fellowship in sleep surgery and transoral robotic surgery (TORS) in Italy with Prof Claudio Vicini, later been certified to perform TORS at the University of Pennsylvania (Upenn).
One of the pioneers in the use of drug induced sleep endoscopy in Brazil, also performed the first TORS procedure for OSA and implanted the first UAS device for OSA treatment in the country.
His PhD thesis was studying the correlation between facial development and UA collapse during drug induced sleep endoscopy (DISE).
Currently is as postdoctoral fellow at the University of Pennsylvania (Upenn), studying the characterization of airway dynamics in OSA patients to improve patient selection for PAP alternative treatments.

Sleep Medicine Fellowship at the Sleep Medicine Unit of the National Institute of Respiratory Diseases at México City. Currently working at a private clinic in Saltillo, Mexico.
